He, She, We

I've developed a powerful gender reconciliation model based on the work done with men and women over the past twenty years. The first training was held on Queensland's magnificent Mount Tambourine on August 16th. Eighteen men and women gathered for the first of these events. The results were very encouraging in that it helped dispel an enormous amount of fear, and were similtaneously daunting when we see how much work there is to do tearing down the walls we've managed to build around ourselves.

What gender reconciliation means is to do just that, reconcile the differences between men and women. How to do that is an age old challenge and one that is needed now more than ever before. The relationship myths we live by are explored, opened up, and given a good shake out. Its fun, It can be hard, but most of all its rewarding work. If you are interested in being a part of this great work - email me.

Circle of Men The circle of men opened its doors in 1991 in Nashville Tennessee. Its an open meeting every wednesday, where men address the isolation we feel in these crazy times and do something about it. Orlan Jennings, Chris Seiter and Myself sat in that first circle. There has been thousands come to the brotherhood since.Theres some great stuff coming up in our community this year,If your in the southern states dont miss it. In 2005, Michael Tarlo and I  started the Circle of Men Australia.  We have since been joined by a great young mover and shaker, John Lowe. Meeting in an open forum wednesday nights for a couple of hours, we work on creating a safe place for men to feel whole again, the group is growing beautifully. As an outreach prodject the circle then reforms every Monday and Wednesday, bringing elderly men together from several Aged care facilities. They get to feel alive and cared about. In case you didn't know the suicide rate in Australia by men 75 and over, is the highest per capita in the world. That statistic deserves that something should be done about it. We're trying, the work is hard but rewarding and volunteers are scarce but loyal. Wer'e currently incorporating, and affiliating with RDCOTA. They are a government body stewarding our growth. Imagine that: working with, instead of against, a government. Boy have I got some great new grandfathers. The sound of men singing is music to the ears. Everybody needs a reason.            See you next week......wash
