June 2011 Check In

Greetings from a crisp Aussie winter… and what a walk through the music it’s been since the last newsletter! The journey has taken Washuntara from the relatively warm climes of South East Queensland to the chilly days and nights of South Australia. It also took him to the warmth and love of beloved family members and friends he hadn’t seen for a long, long time.

Performances in Adelaide and at the Barossa Regional Gallery brought Irish singer/songwriter Eleanor McEvoy into his circle and, with her, some great ideas for a European tour.

Washuntara also had a lovely time visiting his mother in South Australia and helping to celebrate her 90th birthday.
